The wind blows in the winter forest
the flock of flakes like a shepherd,
and some fir trees sense how soon
she becomes pious and holy, and listens out.
She stretches her branches out to the white paths -
ready, and defends the wind
grows towards the one night of glory.
Rainer Maria Rilke
I must admit that until today I was not really in the Advent spirit.
BUT, you can rely on the 1st Sunday of Advent!
At the latest, I will be surrounded by an indestructible spell the night before.
I can hardly wait until all the children get up and we have breakfast together in the candlelight of the first Advent candle.
My Advent decorations are neither lavish nor excessive.
I like candles. Candles everywhere and always.
My Advent heart beats faster because the basic conditions are perfect.
Perfect for the ice lantern .
I call her the Pearl Queen.
If you are looking for them and want to find them, Green Gate candles are now available here .
...and now, as I write these lines, snowflakes are falling quietly and gently....
I wish you a gentle first Sunday of Advent.
Touched by the magic of winter
